Decided to change my font after many years - nice to get away from a bitmap font for a while.
This post is also to promote my new little site and all configs are at

Go to to find a few other goodies as well :)

So I moved away from the green to a blue shade.  Modified a whole bunch of colour variables in numerous applications.  Reminds me a bit of the Android theme. :)

All configuration files and wallpapers are available at

Decided to also try a darker theme, monochrome in visual feel - but with a bit TMNT ooze.

Yabar is the top bar, Weechat is the irc client which is running under tmux.

Dots will be uploaded soon.

After a long stint with source based distros - specifically Funtoo - I also did play around with Crux for a bit - I decided to move back to Arch due to the fact at times it was all just a bit too time consuming.  Anyway still using my trusty bspwm window manager - but using a combination of lemonbar-xft and yabar to create the the top and bottom bar.  The wallpaper if you haven't guessed is from a game called Firewatch which I enjoyed a fair amount.  Applications on display are weechat, mutt, neofetch, glances, nctelegram, vim and yaourt doing a devel upgrade.  I haven't got around to upgraded the configurations - but if you request something I'll be more the happy to send them to you.

Btw, sorry for the delay. But here are the dot files including fonts and wallpaper…

[funtoo] [bspwm] What's cooking on Linux
Finally got around to compiling UE4 for Funtoo/Gentoo - only took several hours even on my i7 4770k. Now compiling one of my friends projects which is huge. Been sitting here for 30 minutes waiting for it took cook. I knew cooking was time consuming ;)
Created a Github for my current desktop for anyone that is intertested.
